Comments, early 2009
We had the best experience at the Tejas Rodeo Company! We brought 150 foreign students from over 70 different countries to see Texas culture, steers, chuck wagons, mounted cowboys, and a mechanical bull. Trey and his coworkers are flexible and great to work with, always coming up with creative ideas to entertain our large group with country music, a bar, great BBQ food and an outdoor show. I would highly recommend contacting Tejas Rodeo to plan your next event!

Corporate Comments, November 2008
"I found Tejas Rodeo Co. on the web while trying to plan a fun event in the San Antonio area for our group of 120+ people. I was looking for something uniquely Texas and in hindsight, Tejas Rodeo was a perfect fit. The advance communication and coordination was outstanding as we planned the event. Then, the evening at Tejas Rodeo far exceeded my expectations. We arrived to friendly greetings, cold drinks and the opportunity for a few in our group to try their hand (or hands!) on the mechanical bull. The meal that followed was outstanding with mouth-watering ribs and brisket. And the rodeo was a blast! Tejas leadership did an especially great job with the rodeo, taking the opportunity to educate our group a little about the history of some of the rodeo events. I would highly recommend Tejas Rodeo for groups of 120 - ??? people that are looking for a fun evening event together, especially if your group comes from outside of Texas. It was reasonably priced and the atmosphere offered a taste of Texas that you won't find in the city limits of San Antonio. I heard nothing but positive comments & appreciation from our group."

Best buckin’ rodeo in Texas
"...Karen found on the internet that there is a rodeo on Saturday nights in Bulverde, Texas … the Tejas Rodeo. It took us about ˝ hour to get there and once we arrived, we knew we were in for a fun evening. As we were walking in, 140 members of the Milwaukee Luthern High School Band were entertaining the crowd. We noticed that many people had plates of BBQ that looked awesome. We made our way to the Cibolo Smokehouse and Saloon to get some dinner. OH MY GOD … best brisket I’ve ever had. For only $7.50 you could choose 1 meat (chicken, brisket or sausage), and 2 sides (cream corn, pinto beans, green beans, potato salad). The meat was BBQ’d on a huge smoker outside and you could smell the BBQ everywhere. After supper we went to the grandstand to get some seats. The rodeo included bull riding, tie-down calf and team roping, barrel racing, break-away roping and a calf scramble. Calf scramble is for kids age 12 and under. They played a game with the rodeo clown that involved rolling around in the dirt! Followed by chasing four calves around the arena, that had orange ribbons tied to their tails. The goal was to get the ribbon off the calves’ tails. It was a hoot to watch, although I don’t know what the kids with the ribbons actually won. The rodeo was followed by a dance in the courtyard area, with a live band playing." (excerpted from dorothyp.com)
